Firstly I just want to send out heartfelt compassion to everyone right now. Everyone has been affected on some level by this outbreak and I want to knowledge how amazing everyone is doing! Deep breath! So in only a couple of days, there has been some quiet drastic developments regarding the COVID-19 outbreak. As these measures are being put in place to protect people, as frustrating and limiting as they are, I want to adhere to them as best I can. I also have personal reasons for wanting to isolate as much as possible, for my own health; that of of my friends and family and of my clients and students. Some of these new measures I have put in place myself, some are out of my hands, but you can be assured that they are all there to protect people as much as possible. If you have any further questions that haven’t been covered here, then please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
Also message if you would like to be on my mailing list, where I will add in all my yoga timetables and updates on hypnotherapy sessions, then click on the home page.
I am now taking my hypnotherapy client work completely online, which means no current in-person appointments. I am using Zoom software to do this, which you can download at http://zoom.us. Zoom is GDPR compliant and super easy to use. We book a session as usual and then just before the session I will send you a link to click on. All you need is a computer, tablet or phone with a camera and microphone (external or built in). Paperwork can be emailed as usual and payment can be either through bank transfer, or PayPal. I am taking on new clients as well as seeing existing clients. I am currently offering an introductory offer of your first session for £40. All other sessions for all clients are £60 (NHS and unwaged concessions available).
The advantages of Zoom is obviously you can relax in the comfort of your own home for sessions, have your own music on in the background, and if you want a snooze afterwards you can! You can have the hypnotherapy lying down or in your favourite chair. I’ve also been told by a client this week, that cats love it too!
If you want to book an online Hypnotherapy session then do get in touch via the Contact Page.
So Yoga on The Square where I teach Queer Yoga has closed for the foreseeable and Yogasara is switching to online only from next week. After much request I am going to be back teaching yoga from next week, but also in an online capacity. I have cancelled this week’s classes just to give myself breathing space and to sort out my online classes but I will be back next week teaching from home.
So how does this work? Both Classes will be online at the same time as usual, but to join you will be given a link to Zoom, which like hypnotherapy clients, you can download here. Once payment is made you will get a link. Or you will be able to book both through MoveGB (more news about that next week), or via Paypal. Classes will be at a reduced rate, with a sliding scale. As lots of people are home (and I am too) I might put on a few extra classes as well, which I will timetable next week. I am just waiting to hear back from my insurance company.
The great thing about online classes, is that you can yoga from your own home in your own time, all you need is a mat! Also it doesn’t matter where you are in the country, you can try one of my yoga classes! If my classes don’t suit you (my style or timings), I am also happy to share other classes and recommend teachers for you. It’s also so important to keep fit and well and strong during these troubled times, that I really hope people keep up with their yoga practice. Once again, if anyone has any questions about the online classes, please do get in touch, via the contact form or my Facebook Page.
Please look after yourselves and each other! Emma x
